The worst Anniversary ♡

Today marks a full year since the beginning of all of this madness. With a few moments of hope throughout 2020, I still made a few memories that I won't forget. So, I looked through my camera roll and picked out the most memorable moments of 2020 that I won't forget.

To the facetime/zoom calls with friends and family.

To the Tik tok coffee trend.

Finally being able to meet up with friends and family in your gardens.

To many many cocktails.

To our trip to Norwich for our 2020 staycation.

From long hair.

To short hair.

To putting our Christmas tree's up in early November.

To spending NYE playing the sticky note name game with my cat.

Moving into Spring ♡

Spring is absolutely the most beautiful time of year, with all the fresh, bright colours, new spring baby animals and the beginning of warm weather. Me and my mum love gardening and having flowers and plants to brighten up the rooms in the house.

So I took a few pictures of the many plants we have in the kitchen, making it look so colourful and bright.

Trip to Langsett ♡

Last weekend me and my parents went on a lovely long walk, because what else is there to do at the moment? It was a beautiful sunny day (still 9 degrees though), and I took some lovely pictures of the views while I was there.

The walk was roughly about 6km and was so refreshing, managed to get my 10,000 steps in as well, always a bonus! I feel like it's so important to go on a long walk every now and then, away from social media and your phone apart from to take a few cheeky pictures.

I was honestly so proud of these photos because I genuinely feel like it shows how beautiful the views really were. Definitely worth the visit!

New Year New Me ♡

First of all, I am aware that we're into the 3rd month of the year, however, it technically still is a new year so...

Anyways, I started my blog in the last lockdown and then when things got back to 'normal' I kind of dropped off and stopped posting, so this time I'm making it a challenge to stick with it. I've felt a new grow of confidence this year to do more for myself and do whatever I want, and even though I still get nervous about what people may think, or do something that isn't 'Lydia like', I just do it because why not? Not everything you do will be everyone's cup of tea, but that doesn't matter as long as it's yours.

So welcome to the blog where I'll dump anything that I want to share or get off my mind, like a little journal... but what people can read.
