Finding Time For Yourself ♡

3 Teas That Can Help You Relax

For me, I find it very hard to find time to do things for myself due to getting lost in doing university work and working my part-time job. I also play the guitar which is a commitment I have chosen but I don't get enough time to play it - and its something I enjoy.

Finding time for yourself is extremely important for not only your physical well being but mental too. Therefore, these past couple of months I have started to try and do more things for myself in my general day to day life.

Shutting work down at 9pm EVERY night. This is something I find extremely hard as when I know I've got university work to be in, I want to stay up to get it done, which isn't benefiting anyone in the long run as I've probably been rambling on about something completely off-topic. Therefore, stopping working after 9pm for me is late enough - if I can do it an hour earlier even better. But then between that time of me shutting down my laptop and going to sleep I can relax, have a cup of tea and have a nice bath. Maybe watch some youtube if I'm feeling it (Which is every time may I add).

Planning planning planning !!! I don't know about you but I love the feeling of making a list and crossing things off throughout the day as seeing everything I've managed to do through the day. Planning your day, or even your week can let see where you can fit in 'you time'. I find this so useful, I love planning everything so having a diary and seeing everything I need to do is heaven to me!

A Sunday for me tends to be the day I plan to do nothing. This means that whatever I fancy doing that morning - I will do. I find that having one day in your week to do absolutely nothing makes me feel like I'm not living a scripted and boring life after all.

Thank you for reading.

Bye! xx
