After many months and weeks of being in lockdown, not being able to go any further than the local supermarket me and my boyfriend decided we deserved a long-awaited week away together. Not seeing him for over 10 weeks was so difficult, but we kept reminding ourselves that were weren't the only couple going through this and it was for a good cause.
So, we hopped online, booked a lovely log cabin and off we went. We stayed just outside of Norwich but we surrounded ourselves with lots of local harbours and seaside to spend our days and evenings.
Our first day we spent at Wells Next The Sea where there was lots of beautiful boats. It was really windy this day so my phone stayed in my pocket but I got a quick snap of the harbour.
We also took a trip to Great Yarmouth for the afternoon however, it was very busy and in the current moments we decided not to indulge ourselves into the crowds in the pier and theme parks, but got ourselves some fish and chips and sat down at a very empty part of a very pebbly beach (which was not fun to walk on let me tell you).
Our final day, we went to a lovely coast called Heacham in the evening to watch the sunset. The sky was filled with seagulls this day but it made us feel very seasidey (I know that's not a word but you know what I mean). The beach was filled with lines of gorgeous beach huts, I would love to have one of my own one day at a nearby coast.
Finally, the sun was setting, as so were the clouds by the looks. They just came out of nowhere and unfortunately covered the sunset, but I still think it looks amazing peering through the clouds.
Thank you for reading my first blog post, please subscribe to get notified on when I next post! Which hopefully will be soon.
Bye! xx
